Daffodils

Some beautiful daffodils popped up in my yard. Just another sign that spring is upon us.
Despite being an" indoor" cat, Oscar appreciates the joys of nature!

First country drive of the spring!

Here are some additional pictures I took during an excursion along the Susquehanna River. Enjoy!

Susquehanna River

The Susquehanna River is one of the longest rivers on the east coast. The word "Susquehanna" means "muddy waters," and was named by the Susquehannok Iroquois who settled along its
banks.

Even more than its gift of wildlife and scenery, the river is a source of energy for many. The Conowingo dam acts as an hydroelectric plant that supplies electricity to hundreds of thousands of people.

Hold on to your hat!

Just days ago I posted about how nice the weather had become. Well, it went back to nasty.
This morning I had to run down the street in my pj's to gather up my lawn furniture which had blown away in the 40 mile per hours wind gusts. And worst of all the Weather Bug tells me that it is going snow tomorrow. Boo, I am tired of the snow, the wind, and the cold.

New Ethan Pictures

Kelly sent a disc of the most recent pictures of lil' Ethan. Here is a sampling.

The Snow is GONE!

What a great day- the sun is shining, the thermometer rose above 50 degrees, and most of the snow is gone!! I cannot wait until spring. I've already sketched out plans for my garden. I am going to lean towards more hearty plants/bushes rather than the colorful flowers I had last summer. I am also going to stay away from vegetables plants this year, except for the jalapeno plants(which I have already started cultivating in pots in my house)!
Well, enjoy the warm weather!
