First on the list is this ugly spider I found on the passenger side window of our car. My dad identified it as a "harmless" jumping spider. EWWW!!! Anything that is that hairy and can jump on me is not harmless. Ryan took an extreme close up for detail and shock value, then I took one for size perspective.
Up next is an interesting beetle that I found scurrying down my driveway this evening. I scooped it up with a shovel and put it in a mason jar. From a internet research it seems to be an Antelope Beetle. Again, this bug is harmless, but it made an awful hissing sound at me when I tried to touch it. It scared the hell out of me.
